7 Week Personal Training and Weight Loss Program
This program is designed for people who generally need to lose more than 21lbs of fat. It follows a very precise nutrition and training methodology which is separated into 3 different phases. It is driven by the fact that most people who have carried significant amounts of weight for prolonged periods of time have been bitten by the body’s protective mechanism Homeostasis. It simply means to stay the same. You’re trying to lose fat but you find your body is doing the opposite. There could be many underlying factors. So we need to manipulate the body’s protective response. This phased approach stops the body overreacting. It enables you to make positive physiological changes to your body so you can burn fat without damaging your metabolism.
- Phase 1 – This takes place over weeks 2, 4 and 7. These weeks are designed to enable your body to burn maximum levels of body fat.
- Phase 2 – This takes place on week 1and 3.This is designed for moderate fat burning and muscle tone
- Phase 3 – Takes place on week 5 and week 6.It is designed to improve muscle density and stabilise weight loss.
Why this phased process. Many individuals who have lost and regained the same weight and then some more over and over again have probably done major damage to their metabolism. This process never allows the body to build a healthy metabolism. If there is any muscle loss during the fat burning phase the other weeks are designed to compensate and allow the body to achieve maximum fat burning and increased muscle density by the end of the 7 weeks. This actually leaves you with a raised BMR making it easier for you to stay lean in the future.
We achieve these phases by using different training strategies which require different ratios of macronutrients or food groups. It’s a lot to take in but don’t worry everything is laid out for you so we make it easy. Your trainer backed up by our team will be with you every step of the way.
