Most of us can remember a time when we felt more comfortable with our physical conditions and due to our careers and family commitments we find that we have little time left to look after our bodies. Precise intensive training is not only more effective its also more time efficient which is great news when juggling all the various aspects of your life.

One of the reasons people only use a fraction of their yearly gym membership is that they end up getting time consumed due to their high volume training routines and don’t eat sufficiently well enough to meet the extra demands been placed upon their bodies. They get tired run down, lose motivation and give up.

Our workouts are concise and meticulously planned to ensure the maximum stimulation in the shortest time period. The average person only has about a 20 minutes of glycogen or energy stores in their muscle fibers. As these energy stores are burnt off during the workout the muscle fibers lose the capacity for intensity and the body simply starts to become too catabolic or over trained. That’s why when individuals wonder aimlessly, from exercise to exercise they are wasting valuable time and wasting glycogen stores leading to a low stimulus work out.

The key factor from exercise is stimulating the internal environment of the body and not the amount of time or calories spent during a workout. Low intensity high duration training only affects the body during exercise and has little effect on what it does for the hours after training. High intense brief workouts can directly raise our metabolism during exercise and for nearly 18 hours after training and that’s not considering the calorie burning effect of the muscle fibers during recuperation. So it’s actually during rest that our bodies recover and our metabolic rate really starts to kick off 24/7.

The skill involved in weight training is having the ability to warm up the specific body parts and bring them to a high point within 30 minutes. After these workouts the body feels rejuvenated and full of energy stimulating a positive psychological effect.

There is also a lot of confusion regarding Aerobic or cardiovascular exercise. The misconception again is that more is better Even with Aerobic exercise studies are proving that intensity is the way to go.

Time is of the essence and so is preventing boredom. I hear people say I’ve just done 50 minutes on the treadmill WHY? because I have burnt off say 300 calories, big deal if the intensity is too low and unless you’re a high level athlete you will have very little intensity for 50 minutes of Aerobic Cardiovascular exercise. Because of the low intensity nature of the workout the metabolism will return back to normal very quickly after exercise. That’s why we developed the high point cardio and cross fit workout which takes around 20 – 25 minutes and its based on sound physiological evidence which concludes that high intensity aerobic cardiovascular exercise will significantly raise your metabolism for 12 to 18 hours after exercise has finished burning much more calories and much more fat.

The misconception of needing to burn lots of calories day in day out or starving your body in order to lose weight is where most nutrition and training programs fall down.

Over training causes burn out leaving the body lethargic where it can’t properly recover from work outs. What happens is this, although the body is burning calories the over training causes you to lose muscle which in turn will slow down your resting metabolism leading to long term weight problems. So high intensity efficient workouts completed within 30 minutes save us time whilst burning more body fat and improving body shape all at the same time.
